a year later

It has been more than a year since I have posted anything on this blog. It has been so long that I needed to first figure out what email I used then reset my password- needless to say it has been a long time.

Of course I re-read my posts and it is just pathetic, every time I tried to start the blog up again, I failed. And looking back at it I know exactly why it failed. I wanted my blog to mirror the ones I really liked but make it my "own". I didn't understand how easy it was for Charles or Brittany to just post twice or more a week, now I realize it is because they are PASSIONATE about what they are writing about and I was lacking that.

This week had an insane urge to write and it dawned on me that did have this blog and yes I have tumblr but I wanted a different vibe to my blog- different from my tumblr. So I won't make any promises about blogging everyday or every week- I will however plan on writing a lot here.. I'm at an interesting point in my life and I can't really journal at the moment so I'm hoping to use this space to vent-to share-or so that Ashley could see my writing ha

So a year later... senior year.. in a relationship.. figuring out my life day by day. For those who know me realize how hard this is for me! I do not do well with slow pace, I like to know things BOOM BOOM BOOM DONE. But a year later I have learned that I can't drive myself crazy trying to figure out my life in one day. I guess this blog is going to be about finding out where my life is going (here I go defining things) we'll see where this blog goes ha..

Anyways there will be details about my relationship as I go on..how much senior year sucks (school work wise) .. I do feel I'm going through a mid-life discovery cheesy I know... but it will work for now

I am serious about this!

I know there are a few people who actually have been reading my blog & every time I say that I'm going to stick to it..but this time I am SERIOUS!! Now you may be thinking well why should I believe her?!? Well this is why because I think I found my niche but before I tell you guys what I'm going to be writing about these next couple of weeks I will explain the process.

So, I obviously wanted to start blogging this summer-status:intense! But I didn't know what exactly I was going to focus on. So, the other day I was watching Julie&Julia and for those who don't know it outlines the life of a famous American cook cooking French dishes, Julie, while also outlining the life of a struggling woman, Julia, who finds through Julie's cook book her way. Well in the movie Julia documents her process through her blog 365 days & 535 recipes (don't hold me to the recipe number)

That is when the light bulb went off! I needed a deadline or goal to keep me motivated! So, there are more or less 115 days of summer left & my goal is to blog 100 days about current events!! I was recalling that for my intro to Journalism class I would have to read the paper everyday & have a current event quiz-which I kinda enjoyed (reading the paper). It has also come to my attention that a lot of people in our age group don't really know whats going on..well this is where I come in .. my spin to current events!! :)**

Need to Get Better at THIS!!

It has been quite some time since I have blogged partly because I am even a procrastinator at things I enjoy doing and partly because my life has been in state of chaos. Back at school, new semester, new year, new me?!? I think its time! ha everyone says that a "new me" what does that entail? a complete soul make over? are there stylists for the soul & your personality? ha my mind much like a spilled ink jar is on a rampant (sorry probably will make ink reference throughout my blogs) So back to the "new me" which I said leaving Jersey on that very very early Sunday morning started the first day back at Loyola still has yet to come out. I am still the same person! But changes will soon be made! I shall keep you posted!

Moving on to other things I have been helping a friend go through a break-up while still recovering from my own. It amazes me how we are so selfless and selfish at the same time when it comes to LOVE. (*sigh*) Unfortunately, that's the only piece of philosophical knowledge I have at the moment.

Well this very disoriented blog was written because my old me is still in full force & I stayed in while my entire room went to a house party. Sometimes my wackness surprises even me!

First Post.. not sure what I am doing :)

According to Wikipedia which we must never trust only for scholarly papers ;) defines a blog as (a contraction of the term "web log") is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

So after some thought I decided to start my own blog- a place where my thoughts can go freely and create a "INK BLOT" haha see how that worked out. I must give tons & tons of credit to my dear friend Charles also known as CGWacko to the web world... he came up with the witty title. I am hoping that eventually especially after i part from the state of New Jersey that this blog will have some direction but I highly doubt it...
